Our care provisions are founded on this commitment. This requires us to select only those candidates who have the personal characteristics, professional qualifications and integrity to uphold our principles.
We choose people who emit a genuine enthusiasm for providing care and possess the motivation, sensitivity, patience, empathy, respect and commitment required to maintain exceptional standards. Throughout the interview process they have to continuously demonstrate how they uphold these qualities and what drives them to become a live in carer.
Our live-in carers have to complete a rigorous recruitment process. We not only look at their qualifications, experience, skills and attributes, but also demand excellent references and undertake an enhanced disclosure barring service (DBS) check on each individual.
Training
Each of our carers is trained to the highest standard, encouraged to complete their NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification, and put through a mandatory training programme. All of our Live-in Carers are trained in first aid, fire safety, health and safety, safeguarding vulnerable adults, care and administration of medicines, palliative care, and infection control.
Mandatory Training
All our carers are required to complete our 3-day classroom-based mandatory training. As part of this in-depth training, we cover a range of health and social care subjects including, medication management, infection prevention & control, safeguarding vulnerable adults, assisting and moving, mental capacity, health and safety, food hygiene, first aid, and fire safety.

In addition to the three days of in-depth training, our induction process includes a 12-week onboarding programme. During the first 12 weeks of employment, our carers complete a series of assessments including theoretical and practical assignments, shadow an experienced carer and performance reviews with a member of our management team.
